Little Black Dress Agony Uncles
Dear boys
I am a Convent School Girl. And you know what they say about Convent School Girls. Do you think I should tell any prospective boyfriends after a few dates, before my friends blab out the truth? Or do you think this would set up unrealistic expectations? What is the boy’s view?
Thanks and Regards,
Shona of Hampshire
Dear Shona
We don't know what you may have heard about convent school girls, but we have always believed that they were chaste, pious and tucked up in bed with a bible by nine every evening. Whatever stereotypes you may have heard about, we suspect that this is much more of an issue in your mind than it would ever be for a boyfriend of yours, and so we think that there is no reason to conceal that you were a convent school girl, and no particular reason to reveal it. It'll only become a problem if you make it one. So we advise you to go forth confidently, and to remember the advice of dear Sister Wilhelmina: always maintain a distance of exactly three yards between yourself and any boy you should happen to meet because they are wretched creatures and only after one thing
